Hello! Thanks so much for stopping by.

I grew up in the City of Sails, Auckland, New Zealand and as a child, I read anything by Enid Blyton that I could get my hands on.
My childhood dream was to head on up the Faraway Tree to the Land of Goodies, that and to look like Jaclyn Smith from Charlies Angels when I grew up.
Neither happened, and now that I am in my forties I’d rather visit the Land of Wine and Nibbles which sadly is not conducive to looking like a Hollywood Actress.
Once upon a time, I used to have Secret Seven reading marathons with my fellow bookworm friend who went on to become something very important in the English Department of Oxford University in the United Kingdom.
I meanwhile grew up and, well let’s just say I had lots of fun along the way squirrelling away loads of adventures for future novels.
I’ve always loved books and still have all my old favourites. I’ve always written too be it angst-ridden poetry about the world being against me in my teens, to travel journals in my twenties.
It wasn’t until my thirties, though when I was married to lovely Paul with our two gorgeous boys, Josh and Daniel that I settled down to the serious business of writing a novel. The result was The Cooking School on the Bay.
These days we live in the fantastic, and resilient South Island city of Christchurch along with our tabby cats, Humphrey and Savannah.
To date I've written sixteen novels, including The Guesthouse on the Green series and Isabel's Story series all of which you can find here. When I’m not writing, I spend an awful lot of time daydreaming about cheese scones and snacky snacks.
